Pool Repair & Resurfacing
Plaster and pebble resurfacing, equipment replacement, leak detection, and structural repair for existing pools.
Existing pools need plaster or pebble resurfacing roughly every 10 to 15 years, and equipment such as pumps, filters, and heaters wear out well before the shell does. Pool repair covers both: resurfacing a tired or stained finish, and replacing failing equipment.
Cracking, settling, or a pool that keeps losing water are usually structural or leak issues rather than cosmetic ones. A repair visit starts with diagnosing whether the problem is the plaster, the plumbing, or the shell itself before quoting a fix.
Older pools built before current Texas soil-movement standards are more prone to cracking at the bond beam or steps. A repair scope on an older pool typically includes an assessment of whether a patch is enough or whether a section needs to be rebuilt.
Heavy spring and fall rain events are normal here, so deck grading and drainage around the pool are built to move stormwater away from both the pool structure and the house foundation, not just off the coping.

Where This Fits in Our Process
A repair starts with an on-site diagnosis rather than a generic quote, since the fix (plaster, equipment, or structural) determines both the scope and the timeline. See Our Process for the full four-phase build.
What to Bring to Your Consultation
Having a rough sense of budget range, a priority list of must-have features, and photos of the current yard (if there's an existing pool or structure involved) makes the first site visit more productive. Nothing needs to be finalized before then, that's what the Design & Planning step is for, but the more specific the starting point, the faster a workable design comes together.
Serving Fulshear, Cross Creek Ranch, Weston Lakes
Cross Creek Ranch is a Johnson Development community with a Design Review Committee that signs off on pool and backyard plans; Weston Lakes is built around its own golf course and country club, where lot setbacks and drainage toward the course are part of the design conversation. Either way, approval and setback review happen in the design phase, before a crew ever breaks ground.
FAQs
What types of pools do you build?
We build custom gunite (concrete) pools and fiberglass pools, plus patio and outdoor-living renovations and repair/resurfacing work on existing pools. Gunite is fully custom-shaped and engineered for Texas clay soils; fiberglass installs faster with a lower-maintenance gel-coat finish.
Can the design be fully custom?
Gunite pools are fully custom: shape, depth, tanning ledges, raised spas, water features, and integration with decking or an outdoor kitchen are all designed around your lot. Fiberglass pools come in a set range of manufacturer shapes but still allow custom decking, lighting, and water-feature add-ons.
